Lizard Island is Australia's northern most island resort, located 240
kilometres north of Cairns and 27 kilometres off the coast of North
Queensland. It is a National Park covering 1,013 hectares with 24 sandy
beaches and a lagoon. |

to Cairns |

Regular flights are available from all Australian
capital cities to Cairns, Queensland with Qantas, Virgin Blue and
Jetstar. Most
airlines have internet only sales available, so you will usually find a
much cheaper air fare by booking online. We are more than happy
to just book your accommodation and transfers. |

From Cairns Hinterland operates the connecting flight between Cairns and
Lizard Island. The flight between Cairns and Lizard Island takes 60
minutes. Fares from Cairns to Lizard Island start from
AUD$398.00 per person return.
Baggage Limits
Hinterland has a 16 Kilogram luggage limit per person. They will accept
extra baggage if there is room available on the plane. This is payable
at AUD$11.00 per piece. If the flight is full and they cannot fit the
baggage on the same flight as the passengers, it will go on the next
flight. The other option is to reduce the amount of luggage and store
